BROWN BARN SIDING

Design by Matthew O'Connell, ADG Inc. and fabrication by Bud Haworth, RB Haworth Co.

Longleaf Lumber is always bringing in new lots of barn siding as we purchase buildings from around the region. Every barn has its own character and siding varies a great deal in color and texture, but there are a few basic flavors that we deal with routinely - gray, brown and red. If you're not seeing what you like, give us a call - we get odd lots in all the time.

Barn Board Specifications:

Thickness: Usually 3/4" - 1" thick

Widths: Variable, usually 8" - 12" wide

Lengths: 4' - 14', usually 8' - 12' long.

Thickness planed, kiln dried, and straight edged upon request.

SKIP-PLANED BARN SIDING

Another popular option is partially surfaced, or skip-planed barn board, which leaves the deep weathered furrows of the barn board surface, but brightens up and smooths the surface - perfect for accepting an oil finish or stain.
